The Greeks devised a cunning plan to infiltrate the city of Troy and claim victory in their 10-year siege. They constructed an enormous wooden horse, secretly placing a select team of warriors inside, including Odysseus, who was instrumental in the ruse. The Greeks pretended to abandon the war effort, sailing away from the shores of Troy as if defeated. Meanwhile, the Trojans, ecstatic about their supposed victory, pulled the massive horse into their city walls, unaware of the treachery that lay within. Under the cover of darkness, the Greek warriors emerged from the horse and swung open the gates to let in the rest of their army, which had sailed back under the guise of nightfall. The Greeks poured into Troy, leaving destruction and chaos in their wake, ultimately bringing an end to the long and brutal war.
