The Trojan Horse legend recounts how cunning Greeks infiltrated the autonomous city of Troy to secure a decisive victory in the epic conflict. After a fruitless decade-long siege, clever Greeks devised an enormous wooden horse as a ruse, concealing a handpicked squad of warriors within, led by the ingenious Odysseus. Under the guise of abandoning their siege engines, the Greeks feigned departure, leaving behind only their massive wooden steed. The Trojans, blinded by triumphal fervor, eagerly pulled the horse into their city as a trophy. As night descended, the Greek warriors slipped out of their wooden sanctuary and swung open the gates, allowing their comrades to pour in undetected. The Greeks stormed Troy, putting an end to the war that had ravaged the city for years.
