Trojan Horse
myminifactory
The Trojan Horse model is a decorative print featuring an open internal storage compartment accessed through a hatch on its underside, ideal for concealing small items such as money, jewelry, keys, and more. This unique design makes it perfect to use personally or as a thoughtful gift. Its versatility shines through in any color option. The tail/hatch print comes in two parts, although an STL file containing both components is also available. The horse part boasts a print-in-place design that can produce a model with freely rotating wheels when sliced accurately and printed on a reliable machine. A note of caution: not all slicing apps or machines may yield the same results, which could lead to a slightly loose standard tail hatch for some users. However, those confident in their slicing app's precision and accuracy can opt for the tail_notch.stl file instead. This variation features a small hump along the sliding part, making it slightly more challenging to insert or remove. The Trojan Horse measures 136mm x 105mm x 32.5mm at standard scale with the tail/hatch installed. To minimize print time and filament usage, large areas inside the model have been left empty. The hatch itself measures approximately 24mm x 14mm, while the internal cavity spans 68mm x 25mm x 25mm – ample space to conceal a variety of small or precious items. This print is generally easy to manage but requires caution: do not use support material as it may hinder wheel movement and fill the storage area. Machines with robust bridging capabilities are likely to produce satisfactory results. Refer to the provided instructions and images for further guidance.
