Trixie Berto's Furba Chic cat litter box boasts a sleek design marred by poor execution. After extensive research, I couldn't find a comparable product on the market. To stabilize the hinges, I had to improvise with cable ties, securing them in place. Unfortunately, after two years of use, the right hinge gave way under stress. In response, I crafted a custom replacement part with enhanced grip and strategically positioned holes for the cable ties. During testing, the left hinge surprisingly broke due to the new hinge's superior strength compared to its original counterpart. This modification may also be applicable to the open version of the litter box, although further investigation is required.
