This is essentially a screw (approximately M19x2.5) with a tapered central opening to enable holding a funnel for filling the Motorcycles crankcase with lubricant. Frequently, it takes two hands or more to keep the funnel from tilting out and possibly spilling oil when pouring to refill. Remove the oil filler, screw this in, and insert the funnel. This could potentially reduce thread length as at just over one inch (25mm) it could be about half as long and still function effectively. Additionally, the hex head could be smaller but I prefer the size when one has lubricant on their fingers and can still get a firm grip.
