Triumph Adjustable Starter Spacer (may fit other Leyland)

If you enjoy my 3dmodels then please consider buying me a cup of coffee at my Paypal tip page: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=ZRLFSSPLF5S4Y This is a parametric model of the starter spacer for a Triumph GT6. However it may also fit other Leyland vehicles that have a Lucas starter. It's main purpose is for converting to an Isuzu Trooper II gear reduction starter motor which requires a thinner spacer of 6mm. Such starters are available inexpensively (under $100) and are a big improvement over the stock starters. However I've included the stock spacer model as well for those who may have lost theirs. The OpenSCAD model is provided for those who need to customize. This saves you the cost of purchasing an aftermarket universal gear reduction starter motor which is quite costly. Note that only some Leyland vehicles can accept the Isuzu starter without interference issues. However GT6 can accept the Isuzu starter with just the thinner spacer. I recommend printing this with a strong filament that can withstand high temperatures. Preferably something like Priline Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate which is available from Amazon.com It may be wise to print a low infill test model and test fit before printing the final model in the expensive plastic. Standard disclaimers apply. I do not deem this part fit for any purpose, Proceed at you own risk. Automotive work can be dangerous. Be careful.
