Trium3D Print In Place Screw Rail Hooks

thingiverse

This is a custom slider designed to fit perfectly into the Trium3D tower slots, allowing users to attach their own custom parts using a convenient hook system. Originally created for use with foamcore board enclosures on the sides of my Trium, these sliders have proven versatile enough to serve as an effective knock-off titan extruder mount, particularly when paired with ABS/PETG printing. By shortening the bowden tube, I've noticed improved retraction performance in this configuration. To assemble the slider, simply print it in place and then use a hex key to loosen the screw that secures it to the tower slot. Once you've slid the slider into position, tighten the screw using the hex key to lock it firmly in place. With the hook system securely attached, users can mount their own custom creations on top of the slider, from tool mounts and Octoprint cameras to intricate enclosures and beyond. I'm excited to see what kind of innovative designs people will come up with for these sliders, and I encourage everyone to get creative and share their ideas with the community!
