A Memorandum of Understanding has been forged between the Bellomo Palace Regional Gallery and its designated partner, the General Manager of the U.O. II Enhancement of Cultural Heritage Arch. Fulvia Greco and the University of Catania. Representing the S.D.S. of Architecture is prof. Rita Valenti, who will spearhead a research endeavor focused on gaining in-depth knowledge about the sculptural treasures of the Gallery, with a special emphasis on the works of the XV and XVI century attributed to Gagini. The project will involve thorough surveys and restitutions utilizing state-of-the-art 2D representation techniques, virtual modeling, and 3D printing.
