<p><a href="http://structuresynth.sourceforge.net/">Structure Synth</a> is an amazing opensource program which makes creating recursive 3d shapes very easy. It does not, unfortunately, have a big selection of shapes. Essentially just spheres &amp; rectangles. The obj need to be scaled to at least 10cm otherwise the terminal branches are too small &amp; break off with the supports.</p>
