Tristan-Otto, one of the most meticulously preserved T-Rex skeletons, has arrived in Berlin. The public is now able to view this incredible specimen up close and even witness its movement. Custom Section Objectives Obtain a T-Rex skeleton that can move in three dimensions. Audiences: All individuals with an interest in dinosaur anatomy and movement are encouraged to participate. Preparation A high level of knowledge regarding 3D printing is necessary for this project. A reliable, printable 3D printer will be required. Additionally, expertise in creating a BJD (Ball-Jointed Doll) will be essential. Elastics will also be needed for joining the pieces together. Steps Print each piece of the T-Rex skeleton separately, remove any support structures, and file down the joints to eliminate excess material. Finally, join the pieces together using elastics, allowing for a full range of motion. Result The end result is a fully poseable T-Rex skeleton that showcases its incredible anatomy and movement capabilities.
