Update 04/06/2019: Since the competition is over (https://www.myminifactory.com/competition/makeanything-design-challenge-139), I've heavily revised this description to make it sound less like a passionate enthusiast's rant about twisty puzzles. :p Heyo! I've just finished whipping up this new design! It's a twisty puzzle with two layers of corner-centred turns: the standard "3x3x3" turn, similar to Trajber's Octahedron, and the shallower hyperbolic cuts that form non-standard cuts meeting at each face's centre (the wide gaps from fillets are similar to mass-produced "Flowerminx"). These hyperbolic cuts enable visually impossible turns to work. Better examples can be seen here: Mercedes Cube II, Deceptiminx, and Impossible Twist. Four of the eight faces have three bandaged pieces each; two clockwise and two anti-clockwise patterns. Bandaged pieces restrict moves in certain permutations, adding to the puzzle's difficulty. I've also checked that they don't restrict too many moves. At this time of upload, the puzzle had never been printed before. However, it should be noted that since then, it has been printed and a video uploaded here: http://sendvid.com/u9f1l3zk
