Tripplight Mounting Bracket
thingiverse
I printed these to secure a Tripplight power strip to my stand-up desk's bottom surface. The strip came with a mounting system and could hang on a wall, but it lacked an upside-down installation option. I later discovered that Tripplight offers specific brackets for this purpose, but at the time, I was unaware of them and created these instead. I tend to use PLA due to its reliability in my 3D printing endeavors. It's proven itself to be a solid choice for various projects. You'll notice the screw holes on this print appear a bit irregular. This was my initial functional print that needed a specific part, and it successfully served its purpose so I left it as is. However, with refinement, it could be improved. After posting this on /r/functionalprints, some users suggested rotating this component 90 degrees to ensure the lamination aligns perpendicularly with the desk surface, which would increase the bracket's strength.
