A friend requested that I create an articulating mount for a webcam, which can attach to a tripod. To accommodate varying gantry lengths, you may need to add either 2020 extrusion or 20mm square tube to securely fasten a counterweight featuring the included hook design. A photo will be provided later today. The Vivitar Quick Mount boasts a hole spacing of 21mm and is compatible with several other tripod brands. The camera mount plate is engineered to accommodate a 1/4-20 bolt or star knob. I opted for a furniture leveling foot as a knob, ensuring that the thread protrudes approximately 15mm from the chosen knob or bolt. Consequently, it will stick out about 5mm above the top of the mount, naturally captured by an undersized hole.
