Tripod

Tripod

thingiverse

A smartphone tripod I designed, featuring a head that can move in all directions. The wingnut was not my design; it's available on Thingiverse. This tripod is built around M5 nuts and bolts. All parts are printed with 6% infill, except the base which has 10%. Supports were only used for "clampB," where they were necessary for the nut hole. EDIT: I added a new phone holder that requires a rubber band. Two options exist: 160mm for small to medium phones and 200mm for small to large phones. Here are the printed parts: * 3 legs * 1 base * 2 round pieces * 1 clampB * 2 end caps * 1 t-track (length depends on phone size) * 2 phone holders * 1 M5 wingnut The hardware list consists of all M5 bolts and nuts: * 4 bolts with a 15mm thread, 20mm total length * 1 bolt with a 35mm total length (I shortened one of the 50mm bolts to this length) * 1 bolt with a 50mm total length * 6 nuts Additional items are needed: * glue * rubber band for phone holder
