TriPod Stand
thingiverse
A versatile stand, reimagined as a triPod alternative. This innovative design is perfect for small spaces, allowing you to repurpose the legs of a traditional tripod. As seen in the photos, it effectively supports my telescope with ease. The construction is sturdy and robust, suitable for printing without any issues. However, keep in mind that this stand still requires parts from a standard tripod to secure the camera in place. To enhance the stability of both TriPodBases, metal hollow 2020 extrusion is recommended. Additionally, reinforcing the mounts with an M5 bolt, nut, and washer can provide extra support. Mount C is designed to be more compact and doesn't require 2020 extrusion for a secure fit in either TriPodBase. To assemble this stand, you'll need some additional hardware: a top bracket from a traditional tripod, metal hollow 2020 extrusion, an M5 bolt, nut, and washer. I'll make sure to post better photos of the triPod when I have the chance.
