This simple smartphone holder for a tripod is quite straightforward. I own an iPhone XR and a Huawei P20 Pro, both of which have thick cases. Unfortunately, standard tripod holders weren't suitable for these devices due to their size. Therefore, I designed and built my own. The dimensions of this custom-made holder are as follows: 78.5 mm in height (which matches the width of most smartphones) and a thickness of 11 mm. These specifications make it compatible with numerous smartphones that have thick cases. The holder is securely attached using an M6 screw.
