This is a replacement component designed to restore functionality to a plastic ring in an apogee tripod microphone stand, keeping the top section securely in place as it moves upwards. To install, simply compress this part before placing it into position; if not compressed, it will spring out when fully extended. This part may also prove useful for other tripods that require similar support.
