Tripod Quick Release Plate
thingiverse
I'm right there with you, folks! I get fed up with constantly switching between camera tripods on a regular basis, so I took matters into my own hands and created a quick release plate inspired by some of the cheap ball heads I've got lying around. And let me tell you, it's been a game-changer! This baby works like a charm and can handle the weight of even my heavy DSLR with ease. If you're interested in more DIY projects that'll blow your mind, be sure to check out my blog at www.dwodevelopments.co.uk. Now, here's what you'll need to get started: * Some filament (you can never have too much!) * 2 M3 x 10mm bolts * 2 M3 nuts * A tripod mounting screw Optional but totally worth it: some foam or TPE/TPU filament for the soft inserts. So far, so good – no need for them, but hey, extra padding never hurts!
