This is a handy release mechanism designed specifically for Velbon QB-4W plates, which can be purchased affordably in abundance or easily printed out by oneself. Standing alone, it doesn't provide much functionality but I've chosen to integrate this mechanism into my mini-projector mount so that the projector can quickly snap onto and detach from its resting place. It is a highly versatile part, adaptable for other square quick-release dimensions as needed.
