I used the original design as a starting point for modifying a similar projector with altered mounting dimensions. The projector depicted here is the type I adapted for use. Like the original, it features holes for 3x M4 screws to pass through and recesses for 3x M4 nuts to sit securely underneath, preventing the screws from being pulled loose. A recess on the top surface accommodates the 1/4-20 connector nut, allowing it to sit flush against the mounting plate. All hardware could be pressed into place by hand without any issues.
