Various foreign materials do not stick properly to the Anycubic Photon's printing platform. Users on the internet report a post-machined platform that improves adhesion. On machined aluminum, certain resins sometimes adhere too tightly, and I didn't want to damage the original platform. The original replacement part is unfortunately quite expensive. In addition, I want to be able to switch between different platform variants without complicated leveling. I have therefore designed a new platform that is cheaper and easier to set up. The original platform must be lowered in 0.1mm increments from home position until a piece of paper sticks firmly. The ball head holder must be released and reattached after leveling. At layer heights of 0.05mm or 0.02mm, the preset setting with an accuracy of only 0.1mm is somewhat questionable. In addition, it is based on the strength of the paper (approximately 0.1mm) rather than that of the FEP film in the resin tank. The new platform realizes a three-point adjustment that can be performed directly in the tank and without tools. It contains its own holder at the printer and is exchangeable with a hand grip. Assembly see under Post-Printing Use: Install tripod into Photon, Resin tank should be in the printer, can also be filled. Loosen all three adjusting screws, lift aluminum plate to top, tighten one adjusting screw so that the plate stays on top. This should prevent collision between aluminum plate and display during homing. Approach home position of printer. Loosen adjusting screws, Press aluminum plate down evenly (light pressure on the three post screws), Tighten adjusting screws, Set zero position at printer.
