Tripod Nut (easiest to print)
thingiverse
This is my fifth and final go-around at creating a nut for tripods that can be printed in super low resolution, super fast. Designed with two relief cuts that allow the plastic to flex slightly to grip threads while being tight enough to cut threads into the plastic on the first try, it's a game-changer. The top of the print is actually the bottom (the part that screws in first) due to the slight taper, making it perfect for any nozzle diameter from .2-.8. Plus, you can use any plastic you have lying around - I used PET-G and it takes about 1 minute 30 seconds per part. Check out the "Print Settings" section for my go-to settings and let me know what you think!
