This mount replaces tripods requiring angular-edged mounts to secure into it seamlessly. Built to replace a lost predecessor, the openscad file allows you to adjust all dimensions according to your needs. The object prints upside-down with a slight overhang enabling countersinking for the mount screw. Acquire a mount screw from a hardware store or equivalent to ensure smooth installation. If the bevel exceeds your printer's capabilities, flip it 180 degrees and use supports instead. This printed successfully and fitted my tripod perfectly. For an optimal fit, measure the tripod mount attachment using calipers, print a test piece, and adjust as necessary. I achieved a perfect fit after one iteration. Since no two tripods share identical designs, an STL file is not included. Download openscad and generate a custom version tailored to your specific needs.
