Tripod Mount for PS3 Eye
thingiverse
Place your PS3 Eye on a tripod by following these steps. First, obtain the CameraHolder.stl from abarry's MakerScanner 0.3 (thing:3946). Then, use my custom OpenSCAD script to modify the file by removing scanner-specific parts and adding a thicker base with space for a standard tripod 1/4"-20 hex nut and bolt. The project is licensed under GPL, based on abarry's MakerScanner license and Catarina Mota's shapes.scad (http://www.thingiverse.com/download:11183). To use it, simply print the modified file, insert a 1/4"-20 hex nut, place your PS3 Eye, attach to the tripod, and enjoy! If you'd like to make adjustments, download all necessary files - shapes.scad (http://www.thingiverse.com/download:11183), CameraHolder.stl, and CamHolderTripodMount.scad. Open CamHolderTripodMount.scad in OpenSCAD and customize as desired.
