Tripod mount for Microsoft Lifecam Cinema
thingiverse
I utilize a Microsoft Lifecam camera to monitor my 3D printer closely and required a tripod mount for it. The base features a threaded 1/4-20 hole, allowing it to fit an ordinary tripod easily. To secure the camera in position, a M3x12 bolt and washer are necessary. I printed this adapter in PETG to prevent it from becoming too brittle and employed 0.1mm layer height so that the M3 threads would print correctly and function properly. Supports are essential, but be sure to keep them out of the threads themselves when printing. I created this mount on a very affordable Monoprice Mini Delta printer.
