Tripod Mount for Ciclop Scanner
thingiverse
I don't have much space in my workshop, so I decided to put my new Ciclop scanner on a tripod. In addition to the printed scanner holder, you'll need one 1/4-20 hex nut - this is what the tripod connects to. Most tripods used in the US typically utilize a 1/4-20 thread for mounting cameras. You'll also require two M3-10 screws and their corresponding hex nuts to secure the mount to the scanner. These screws merely hold the acrylic using pressure, so you won't need to drill any holes; however, be cautious not to apply too much pressure or you may damage the acrylic. Additionally, there are a couple of cable clips for organizing cables. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25 Infill: 20% with 1.5mm Walls Notes: It is quite forgiving, so just about anything will suffice. I printed it in PETG, but any material should work.
