This is a base for the Adafruit tower light to allow it to be mounted onto a 1/4in tripod thread. It has been tested with https://www.adafruit.com/product/2993 but should also work with https://www.adafruit.com/product/2994.Assembly notesThe tripod mount is designed to work with a threaded insert and is currently sized as a clearance fit to allow the insert to be fitted after printing. If you wish to directly tap the base to take the tread use the direct tap variant of the model although this has not been tested. In addition you will need three M4*12 bolts and three M4 nuts to attach the base to the light. If sleeving the cables (as seen in the phots) for the light then adding heat shrink on the inside of the light will prevent the cable being pulled out from the light.AboutThis was created for the POE stack light project of which details can be found at https://github.com/Tyler-Ward/stacklight-hardware or https://www.scorpia.co.uk/2021/05/23/building-a-poe-enabled-lighting-fixture/
