The main bracket with Manfrotto plate is now securely attached in place. The provided STL files feature removable supports for ease of printing. To attach the knob, screw an M6x25 bolt into a corresponding nut while turning it counterclockwise - heating may be necessary if the fit is tight. Two brackets are joined by a single M3x16mm Allen head bolt secured with a locknut. Since there's no thread in these holes, drill 5-5,3 mm for both M6 (knob) and 1/4" (tripod thread). You can either tap the hole to create threads or just screw in the bolts as I did - just make sure the holes are slightly larger. The tripod mount fits lenses with diameters up to 65mm, with a maximum 17.5 mm wide groove for the mount. I use this mount on my Canon EF 200/2.8 lens to replace the standard Type A II mount which is compatible with other Canon lenses including the EF 200/2,8 L USM, EF 80-200/2,8L USM, EF 200/2,8 L II USM, EF 70-200/4 L USM, EF 70-200/4 L IS USM and EF 400/5.6 L USM.
