Tripod hub for action camera mounts on 20mm conduit
thingiverse
I made use of 20mm outside diameter conduit and didn't have tripods available. Budget action cameras often come equipped with time lapse modes, so I was eager to try out some time lapse photography. To accomplish this, I came up with a device that would connect the legs to the camera securely. The design works well in PLA, but ABS is the preferred choice for its ability to provide a snug fit around the skinny fingers of the camera mount. For printing, I use 2 perimeters and at least 25% fill to ensure stability.
