Tripod Head VESA Mount for Webcam/Camera
prusaprinters
Mounts to an existing monitor VESA mount (100mm hole spacing) using the existing machine screws and holds a tripod head with a standard hex-head 5/8"-16 bolt (not included). Tripod head mount can be up to 55mm in diameter. Center point of mounting screw is 175mm from the surface of the VESA mount. I use this setup to hold my Fujifilm X-T3 with the battery grip using an affordable Sirui ball head. This puts the bottom of my 23mm lens about a centimeter above the top of my 23.5" LG UltraFine 4K display. I designed this for compatibility with an Ergotron monitor arm; depending on the geometry of your setup you may need to adjust significantly. Print instructionsThis is designed to print with the large flat bottom area against the build plate. The circular end will need supports due to the angle. You don't need supports to print the holes in the rectangular back part, but PrusaSlicer will generate them by default. I'm including a 3MF project file with the supports painted on in the way I recommend. I used PETG to ensure sufficient strength with my relatively hefty ball head + camera + battery grip + ƒ1.4 lens, but it's probably overkill even for that, so PLA should be fine. Nothing fancy otherwise—PrusaSlicer defaults work well.
