Tripod flashlight mount attachment
thingiverse
Hi! For this project I have used the Rhodesy Otctupus Phone Tripod found on Amazon as the base. I have used Lumonite Compass R Headlight as the light for the project. I have used the light mount, universal crossed as inspiration for the 3d-modeling. It can for instance be found via: https://www.valostore.se/produkt/ficklampsfaste_korsad_universal/?ps if you for some reason want to buy it separately rather than 3d-print this piece. If you want to 3d-print it instead you need to buy the adjustable ring straps separately (see pictures). They are made with hook-and-loop fastener. The unique 3d-model I designed is really simple. It is basically just a cylinder with a screw hole with a thread. The size for the screw hole is 6 mm or 7 mm (I added two versions of the model). I also added a 6 mm sceew if you want to see if it fits the holes when you 3d-print from your printed. I have used Prusa Mini+ and it fits perfectly! Printing a 7 mm whole and thread might make it easier to fit it with the 6 mm screw. Therefore the two different parts. One part is the threaded hole the entire way through if you like this solution better. If you are using another tripod or screw you might need to make design changes. The design software I used for this project is Fusion 360. Please feel free to comment below what you think. You are also encouraged to find improvements and make design changes. Have a nice day! Happy printing!
