Tripod Coldshoe

<p>My camera’s remote receiver normally mounts on the hotshoe of the camera, which is fine and good unless you also want to mount a flash or flash transmitter. When I’m doing product photography, I usually have the camera tripod mounted and need both the remote receiver and flash transmitter. Taping the receiver to the tripod was “ugly” to say the least.</p><p>This gizmo simply clips securely to the tripod leg, and you slip the receiver (or whatever) into the coldshoe. I included a slot for a cable-tie in case it needs to be more permanent, of if it starts getting loose over time.</p><p>The attached STL assumes your tripod leg is 30mm in diameter. I’ve also attached the Fusion 360 file so you can make the diameter whatever suits your tripod. There’s a User Parameter to set the diameter of the leg. I’d suggest going 1mm smaller than the actual diameter to ensure of a tight fit.</p>
