Tripod/camera-mount for PlayStation Eye and Similar Cameras
thingiverse
This print is specifically designed to position a PlayStation Eye at eye level when placed on a desk or similar surface. It prints out in under a day using an Elder 3, and I utilized Ultimaker Cura for slicing the print. Tree supports were used, but other support types will likely work just as well. After printing, assembly is accomplished by using seven M3 screws along with one M3 nut. The resulting structure is very sturdy if the correct hardware is employed. Six long M3 screws are used to secure the legs in place, while a medium length M3 screw and one M3 nut are used to attach the camera mount. It's worth noting that over-tightening the leg screws can lead to reduced sturdiness of the assembly. Feel free to comment on any areas where improvements could be made; I aim to implement suggested changes within two weeks.
