Tripod Bubble Level
thingiverse
This is a remix of the bubble level by twchambers, with several key modifications to enhance its usability:\r\n\r\nI inverted the design to ensure the bubble level hole opens towards the tripod base rather than the head.\r\nI made the bubble level hole fully enclosed, extending through the entire mechanism to lower it and improve stability.\r\nThe overall height was increased to achieve better results.\r\n\r\nThis revised version positions the bubble level significantly lower, eliminating interference with the tightening screw for my tripod head's pan function.\r\nAdditionally, the reduced protrusion of the bubble level enhances aesthetics.\r\nStrengthened side walls contribute to improved accuracy by minimizing flexing whenever handled.\r\n\r\nI printed this model using PLA and it functions perfectly on my MeFoto Globetrotter CF. I'm grateful to twchambers for sharing his OpenSCAD design file, which I've also made available for customization.\r\nThe STL file is designed for a 50mm base diameter and an 18mmx10mm bubble level.
