tripod ball joint
thingiverse
A replacement ball joint for the Tzumi and other related tripods is now available. *Important notice*: A slight edit was made to the hole where the leg connects, accounting for a possible tolerance error within the metal of the leg. The part features a slightly larger diameter at the bottom of the hole than the entry point. This modification allowed one of the tripod legs to slide all the way down when the bottom was opened up by 0.01 inches in radius and 0.02 inches in diameter, ensuring it fit properly. To address any potential issues arising from this edit, a simple fix is to apply glue to the tip of the leg, securing it to the inside of the joint if one leg fails to slide in all the way as experienced with one of my tripods. Otherwise, the part prints perfectly fine with supports.
