The GoPro 3-in-One selfie stick is pretty versatile, and even has a small tripod foot to let you stand it up on its own. Unfortunately, that foot is very small and unstable, and I've had my GoPro blow over various times because of light wind. I wanted to mount it to larger tripods, but it doesn't use a conventional mount on the bottom. So made an adapter that has its larger threading and added a knurled base with a standard 1/4" tripod threaded hole in it. Now I can screw this thing to better tripod feet, or to larger tripods and use this selfie arm as a boom.
