This is a follow up to the Triple Z Screw Rat Rig V-core and the V2 upgrade. As it stands, this mod is designed for those who upgraded from the original V1 to V2 since the old bed motor mounts are necessary. Please let me know if you're interested and I'll create plastic replacements for any missing V1 parts. It's an improvement over my previous design in several ways: 1. It uses less hardware. 2. It utilizes metal plates. 3. It's smaller and faster to print. 4. It's easier to assemble. 5. The tension around lead screws is significantly better. ### Possible Configurations #### Left, Right, and Back Print one of each set, which will require only 8 F623 bearings but no front tension options (if you prefer symmetrical designs). #### 3x Back Print the back set three times to get 12 F623 bearings, allowing you to mount the tensioner on the printer's front. ### Hardware Needed 12 x 30mm M3 screws 12 x M3 hex nuts 3 x 608 bearings 8 x F623 bearings 3 x M8 GT2 pulleys 1 x M8 GT2 pulley for motor pull (I'm using a 40T one for a 2:1 reduction) 1 x big loop belt (1200mm, but there's tolerance +/- 200mm as the tensioner can be placed anywhere around the frame) 1 x smaller loop belt (for the motor) 1 x 16T-20T idler puller for the tensioner
