Triple seedling planter tray

<p>My 6 year old came home from school with 3 seedlings in a plastic cup for a class activity, and I needed a place to nurture the seedlings until they were ready to be potted. After a quick search on PrusaPrinters.org, I found a base model that wasn't exactly robust enough for a starting point, and quickly made a new improved design from scratch.</p><p>The planters have a removeable base plate that allows you to easily lift the seedlings out of the small tub once they're ready to be potted/planted, and has a small 10mm hole in the bottom to drain any excess water your child may enthusiastically pour into the pots. The base plate has 4 legs that raise the floor of the planter slightly to allow for better drainage and less chances of root rot (gotta keep those seedlings nice and happy to grow!)&nbsp;</p><p>I've also included a gravity-defying drip catch tray to soak up any excess leakage from the planters, which serves a double duty as a watering tray if you'd like!&nbsp;</p><p>These planters are kid-approved (my daughter planted the two seedlings seen in the pictures)!</p><p>Printable without any supports, PETG preferred for better UV resistance outdoors, using a standard 0.4mm nozzle, 0.48 extrusion width, and 0.2mm layer heights. Everything has a 0.2mm clearance built-in, which makes them pretty much print and assemble from any FFM printer you've got to use! Print time for the tray is around 1~1.5 hours, and the same for each planter + base combo. All walls/floors are 1.44mm thick, which should make these wonderful little planters last a lifetime (or two!)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>** STEP source files also included in case you're feeling adventurous and would like to make any further modifications to the final design.</p>
