This design is for the Voxelab Aqulia (including X2). It's a remix of a remix that gives good clearance for the BL Touch. I like Noctua fans so wanted to fit three!

The two filament fans are wired in series for 24V operation.

The heatsink fan is wired in series with 2x 120 ohm 1W resistors. (two in series to spilt the power drop - allowing us to use 1W resistors with good margin).

This solution means you don't need to rewire the main board or use a buck converter and it should be more reliable.

If you choose to use a different 12v fan for the heatsink then adjust the resistors to match the value as the fan. Fan resistance = 12/Fan_current. Use two 1W resistors in series to add up to the approximate value. E.g if the fan current is 90mA, the fan resistance = 12/0.09 = 130 ohms. Use two 68 ohm resistors.

The two ducts should be printed upside down, use supports to fill the box.
I glued the ducts to the side of the main piece.

I've cleaned up the Satsana model a lot, removing a lot of surface artifacts. The design only gives marginal improvement to overhangs but print surface quality is better on all sides.

It's a lot quieter too which is the biggest reason for this upgrade..
