To declutter your desk space, use a cheap monitor stand that features adjustable height and width using various length profiles. Attach a desk lamp to the frame to eliminate its large round base. Purchase two vice clamps for €5 each to affix the stand to your desk. Obtain aluminum profiles from Motedis.de - 2 x 1000mm, 2 x 500mm, and 2 x 300mm. Drill 8mm holes at 15mm from the ends of the shorter profiles for assembly. Secure the frame with self-tapping screws, except the lower horizontal bar, and reinforce corners using angle brackets. Attach monitor arms to the frame, clamp it to your desk with self-adhesive feet for protection, wire everything, add monitors, and optionally attach an Artemide lamp using a lamp clamp. The total cost without arms is approximately €50, and cable holders may be designed as an improvement over cable ties.
