Triple Expansion Marine Steam engine update 11

thingiverse

Ladies and Gentlemen of Thingiverse, tonight I unveil the missing piece! In 1841, the Stephens Locomotive Works pioneered the "Stephens Link Motion" valve gear. Its ingenious design transformed steam engine efficiency and became a cornerstone in engine construction through the early 1900s. The small upload today brings this link to life. You'll need to print six copies of each part file to assemble three complete sets of links. Since the parts are compact, they should all fit on your printer bed for a single printing session. With these links installed, you'll finally connect the crankshaft to the valves, completing the moving parts. Note that if this is your first encounter with this project and you're unsure what's happening, take some time to review the first 10 updates – they offer a comprehensive explanation of the entire story.
