Human: Triple Expansion Reciprocating Vertical Steam Engine Design Unveiled - A Challenging Project Takes Shape. Built from scratch with Solidworks, this massive engine model boasts accurate material attributes and precise dimensions, mirroring real-world manufacturing methods of the 1900s. Research was conducted through extensive photo analysis, book studies, and video reviews to recreate an authentic depiction of this historic marvel. At nearly 10 feet in length, 8 feet tall, and weighing a substantial 11,000 pounds in its unfinished state, this engine is an engineering behemoth. Today, I'm releasing the first set of parts for this monumental project: the bed plate, side frames, and cylinders. Over the coming months, further components will be shared in batches as the model evolves. Keep in mind that parts may undergo changes as the design progresses; updates will be clearly identified. Should you require technical drawings, simply request them and they'll be provided upon completion. These prints are expected to push even the most seasoned 3D printing enthusiasts to their limits - a true test of skill.
