Triple Ball Bearing Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
I've edited my double ball bearing fidget spinner here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1821445 Update 2: I've uploaded a curved rendition of the original spinner, utilizing only the 1/2" ball bearings. If people prefer the 5/8", I can upload those as well. This model features a slightly oversized skate bearing hole since I had to sand out the inside for half an hour each time I printed a spinner. If this causes issues with your precise printers, let me know and I'll upload one with tighter tolerances. Update: I've uploaded a second model using 1/2" (12.7mm) ball bearings instead of the 5/8" ones if you prefer lighter weight or can't find the 5/8" ones. This version uses three 5/8" ball bearings as weights, which is standard for everyone else in the world. These were originally superglued in; I left the ends open because it looks and feels better that way, but I redesigned it to be a little thicker, so the balls now just snap in and hold fine. If you've made one, post a photo! Thanks! Print Settings Printer: Geeetech G2S Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: You may have issues with warping; if so, just add a ~3mm brim around it and it should be fine. Printed in PLA at 200 degrees. Rotate the model 90 degrees on the X axis to print flat, sorry about that. Post-Printing Materials/Instructions You will need: 1 "Skate" 608 bearing 3 5/8" (15.875mm) Ball bearings or 3 1/2" (12.7mm) Ball bearings The skate bearing and ball bearings just press in; you may need to sand or file down the inside for the skate bearing to fit depending on your printer.
