Originally from "Wood Magazine" Issue 70 in June 1994, this was a whirligig project; however, I only constructed the plane component. The model was designed using Solidworks 2016 software. Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition was utilized for rendering. Gif animations were created with PhotoScape and further edited using IrfanView. The files were compressed with freeware version of 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/). Notably, the 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are animated. The ZIM file can be viewed on both IOS and Android devices through the Simlab Viewer app, which is available for free download. The model is accessible in various formats like Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, FBX, ZIM, and DWF.
