Designed to scare bears and other wildlife away from camps with a loud deterrent, this device is perfect for protecting your perimeter. It uses .22 cal blank rounds, which can be purchased at most hardware stores, and are designed to detonate the edge of the casing without causing harm to animals or humans. The basic idea behind this design is simple: when a bear trips the line, it pulls the rear cotter key and bang - the bear is scared away without causing any harm. However, there's also a downside - some bears might leave their poop in your camp, but at least you'll be safe! Don't use this device while stupid or drunk, as serious physical danger can result from improper use. Hearing loss, damage to the body, or even death can occur if you're not careful. Don't use live ammo - it's a no-brainer! This falls under the "don't be stupid" category, and using live rounds can lead to serious consequences. Use common sense when handling this device. Don't be an idiot! Here's how to assemble the device: 1. Print the base 2. Insert the spring into the shell cavity 3. Add the clevis from one end and push it through the spring 4. Add the cotter pin to the middle hole on the clevis 5. It's a one-time use only device. To set up the device, mount it to a tree or pole using zip ties (holes are provided for this purpose).
