Trinus PCB Fan Shroud
thingiverse
This design serves to mount a fan over the Kodama Trinus main PCB, blowing air directly onto the stepper drivers to keep them cool. The fan housing slots into place on the top right corner of the board and can be easily detached if needed. The existing design does not accommodate the use of an SD card or laser module, but these components are not essential when working with the laser. A 40mm x 40mm x 10mm fan is installed in this setup. All connectors located at the bottom of the PCB function as a baffle to direct airflow over critical areas of the board. This specific fan model used in my design can be sourced from Jaycar: https://www.jaycar.com.au/40mm-12v-dc-thin-fan/p/YX2503. Tabs are provided to secure the fan in place without requiring permanent fasteners; however, slight modifications were necessary due to a tight fit.
