Trinus Kodama Wobble Fix Beta (and prevent cracked glass.)
thingiverse
I designed this for someone the other day, and now I'm uploading it to help out whoever might be interested. It's not meant as a solution for everyone, especially since I noticed my hex nuts move just as freely as my flanges. You'll need a T8 hex nut and some patience if you decide to give it a try. Unfortunately, I don't own the printer, so I won't be able to provide any instructions. If anyone is willing to make modifications and create a tutorial that would be awesome. I uploaded this in the hopes that someone might benefit from it, even though I'm not sure how much use it will get. There's talk that floating z-axis doesn't do much good, but for me, it made a huge difference. Whether or not you'll see any benefits with your Trinus printer is hard to say. If you're feeling adventurous and willing to take on the challenge, this modification might at least prevent glass bed cracking, even if nothing else changes.
