Trinus Heat Bed Wire Chain
thingiverse
Almost everyone who owns a heated bed has encountered issues with the Trinus heat bed cable, which is prone to fatigue. To combat this problem, a custom-designed wire chain can be created to alleviate strain on the cables. Print two anchor links and twelve middle links, which can be made from PLA or PETG. While both materials work, PETG is less likely to break when snapped together, making it an excellent choice for assembling the chain. Once assembled, the chain is under no stress, rendering PLA a suitable option as well. A cable approximately twice as long as the original one provided by Kodama is required, so consider creating your own. The necessary connector specifications can be found in the Facebook Trinus Creatives forum or by messaging me directly. To assemble the wire chain, attach the two anchor links with their tabs on the same side of the chain. One end should be secured to the heat bed using a wire tie, replacing the original cable. The other end is attached to the metal base using double-sided tape for added stability.
