This is the Trimmer Head Feeder for a Hitachi CG22EAS (SLP) week wacker (the part that you tap to feed the string). They only seem to sell the entire head assembly, which costs around $50 or more. The part shown in the photo was made with ABS on a Robo3D printer, and has been used almost 8 hours without problems. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Resolution: Print density is Heavy or 90%. Material used was ABS. Scaling had to be done at 98.75% due to the part not staying intact while printing; this added a strong, thin layer called a raft which could easily be snapped off by hand after printing. Post-Printing Creating threads manually is necessary. After printing: First make sure it's tightly screwed on, enlarge the screw hole with a 5/32 inch drill tap and then use half turns of the self-threading screw that came with the trimmer head to create the threads without forcing anything. Unwind it several times afterwards to clear plastic debris out of the area where the thread was created.
