This is a trigger guard with picatinny rail for .44 cal Remington 1858 New Model Army from Pietta (I guess it suits all 1858's...). Assembly only with the stock screw. You can fit a small light on it. More for fun than anything else. It's also more convenient than the stock one to my view. The other was too close to the fingers. Main issue is that it's kinda big and it reaches the point where it will almost prevent the trigger from working (no space for it moving). But I've no more my CAD's trial, so I don't care. (Filing might help here...).
